Former AOL and Microsoft Executives Join AdReady Executive Team

Seattle, WAAdReady, the leading self-service online advertising company, announced today the appointment of Mark Feldman as Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development and Saleel Sathe as Vice President of Product Management.

Feldman, formerly Vice President of Network Development at AOL, will direct AdReady’s revenue initiatives, manage the sales organization and build partnerships with leading online publishers. In addition, Feldman will oversee the company’s corporate development activities. Until recently, Sathe was Director of Product Management for Microsoft’s adCenter. At AdReady he will develop product strategy and guide innovative products from conception to launch.

"Mark and Saleel bring a wealth of experience and knowledge in online advertising to AdReady, and will greatly enhance our ability to meet the growing demand for our self-service ad solution," said Aaron Finn, AdReady’s CEO. "As small and medium size businesses increasingly look to online marketing, AdReady is perfectly positioned to provide them with an easy and effective way to reach customers."

At AOL, Feldman was responsible for evaluating and closing strategic business relationships with leading technology companies, publisher partners, and advertisers. In the past year, Feldman played an instrumental role in shaping AOL’s network strategy, resulting in a string of acquisitions (Tacoda, Quigo, Third Screen Media, and AdTech) and the formation of AOL’s Platform A division. During his eight-year tenure at AOL, Feldman led business development efforts on behalf of multiple AOL business units including MapQuest, AIM/ICQ, Search, Marketing, Product, and Advertising Operations. Prior to AOL, Feldman practiced law at Latham & Watkins, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, securities, and general corporate representation. Feldman received a law degree from the Boston College School of Law.

"My experience at AOL in evaluating, partnering with and acquiring technology and online marketing companies provides me with a unique perspective and allows me to see the value and potential of AdReady’s game-changing solution for marketers," said Feldman. "I am excited to be joining the talented AdReady team in building a major Internet advertising company."

At Microsoft, Sathe was the Director of Product Management for adCenter, where he oversaw the contextual advertising product, ‘Content Ads,’ and the Microsoft publisher program. Prior to Microsoft, Sathe led product management and marketing for paid inclusion services at AltaVista and later at Overture. Sathe managed the long-term strategy to increase revenue by improving relevance through a better balance of paid and unpaid search results. He holds an MBA in finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and an MS in computer engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
